Congratulations to my friend Kris! She has been hunting for a job and her hard work has finally paid off so I decided to make her this card. I love this pattern paper from Stampin' Up! It's double sided so when I made this all I had to do was cut and flip and it looks awesome! I used pretty in pink cardstock and ribbon and the boho blossom punch for the flowers. I had to add some bling so I used the pearls and the diamond brads. Way to go girly! I knew you'd do it!

Thanks so much!
My sister had her Stampin' Up! Christmas card class tonight and she was suppose to have 10 people!! I can't believe it, that's amazing AND she has another workshop tomorrow night! WOW! Her cards are amazing and so is she, I wish I could've been in Connecticut with her so I could go to her class, well, and see her and the kids too! lol
Well here is a card I made with the two step bird punch from Stampin' Up! Enjoy!
Thank you ladies for placing your Stampin Up! orders last month! These are the thank you notes I included with their orders. I think they turned out amazing! I've been wanting to use the bird punch forever so I did. I did a clear heat emboss on the bird to give it some dimension but it's hard to see in the picture.

Sweet!!
I'm just finishing up the kits for my Christmas Card class on Saturday and I have to say I'm getting tired of looking at them so I thought that since I'm in Florida and even though our mornings and evenings are getting a little chilly (low 60's) our afternoons warm up pretty good!! Well, today was one of those days that would've been perfect for an ice cream cone, so here's one to enjoy!!
I used my Cricut with the Sweet Treats cartridge, still one of my favorites, to cut this card out! I added some stickles and inked some of the edges for that added dimension. What a cute card!
Have a 'sweet' day!!

'Tis the Season!
I can't believe that Halloween is over, Thanksgiving is coming and the grocery store even has Christmas goodies out! I guess that's one way to get into the holiday spirit here in Florida! I've never worn flip flops and a tank top for trick or treat until this year!
I've decided since I've made so many different Christmas cards already I'm going to send them out instead of making just a bunch of the same ones!
Here's one I made using the the snow flake embossing folder and I added some frost shimmer paint from Stampin Up! I then used the white organza ribbon, added some sticky strip to the center and pressed some glass glitter on it. Put the ribbon on the white embossed paper and layered onto a card! I think it turned out pretty cool! The stamp is stamped in marina mist ink and punched out with the small tag punch and layered with the large tag punch. I think this stamp is retired though but there are sooo many Christmas tag stamps that would work great!! Have a wonderful week!!

Bros 4 Life layout
Well, my boyfriend has 2 boys and you've seen the youngest ones layouts I've done but he has a gaggle, yes I said gaggle, of pics of his oldest son but I wasn't around when all of them were taken so I'm having the darnedest time getting some of them into a nice scrapbook! Sooooo, here is one of them I did tonight! I used my cricut to cut the scallop DCWV designer paper and I used SU baja breeze ink to ink the edges of the letter that I cut out in white. Hope you enjoy!

Halloween Layout
While I was on a roll with scrapbook pages I decided to go ahead and make a halloween layout! At the school they had a Book-o-ween parade where all the kids dressed up and paraded around with a book dressed as a character in the book. This lets all kids participate even if they don't celebrate halloween they are celebrating reading! So I snapped a few pics on Friday, sent them to get printed and now all I have to do is pick them up and put them on this beautiful layout! Pretty smart thinkin' huh?
1st day of 1st grade layout
I finally finished my boyfriend's sons scrapbook page from the first day of school! Hey, at least it's this years! I still have a ton of his oldest sons pictures that are patiently waiting to be scrapped but it's difficult to do since I was there for them! lol This was a very simply layout I did using my Cricut and Locker Talk!

Delightful Decorations!
Delightful Decorations!
That's the name of the stamp set I used for these ones and it is delightful!! I have to be honest, when I first got this set I played with it a little but wasn't too impressed but I picked it back up and I can't put it down!!!
I have my first Stampin' Up! workshop coming up Oct. 28th and I can't wait! I decided to stick with this stamp set to show off! I made a hostess gift bag with the tag stamp that comes with this set and then I'm going to demonstrate a gift card holder using this set and some punches. (I cased the gift card holder from Chic n Scratch) and then these cards will be the make and takes! I stuck with the color scheme on the bottom for all the projects and then decided to show a whole new look with the blue and white!

Stampin Up booking
I absolutely love the owl punch AND the mini milk carton die from Stampin Up! I finally booked my first workshop and I wanted to make sure I didn't forget to try and get another one. So I came up with this little interactive display! I've seen these displays as the 3-D cake slices saying "Who will take the cake?" and "it's a piece of cake to host a workshop."
Let me know what you think! Would you book a workshop with me because you want to know what's inside? I would! lol

Double Embossing!
Hi Everyone!
Here is a really neat way to add more to your cards and pages! If you love your Big Shot or Cuttlebug your going to love this technique! Check out the video to learn how to do it!
I use my laptop to video my projects so they are not the best quality but I'm gonna ask for one for Christmas! Hint, Hint!!

A little OCD!
I've thanked my mother for the slight OCD! I got a pTouch label maker at Michael's yesterday so I spent my afternoon labeling all of my Stampin Up ink pads. First, I printed the names on the labeler, cut them in half and then punched the edges with the word window punch to get them rounded. Then, I peeled of the backs and stuck 'em in there!! Cool huh? I'm glad it's done though!

Witch Shoe!
Happy over the hump day! Ever feel like you need a good ol' kick in the butt? Well, here it is, A witch's shoe to help you over the hump today!
Sorry for the mess in the background of my photos, I really need to work on my photography skills but hey, it's not what's behind the shoe it's all about the shoe!!
I found this on the internet while looking for Halloween 'treats' to make for fun! I fell in love! You can also make this shoe as a wedding/bridal shower favor or for any girly occasion. I had trouble finding the template for free but it's out there at skiptomylou.org but the original idea, I believe, is from Ellen Hutson.

Halloween Gum Holder
I saw this cute little gum holder over at the Rubber Room blog and as a Stampin' Up demonstrator I couldn't pass this one up!
If your coming to my crop in Tampa this Friday, this is going to be the make and take! I usually have a card but I ran out of envelopes and plus we did a halloween card last time!!
I used the owl punch upside down for the ghost and the little hearts for the feet. I used the circle punch from the itty bitty punch set for the eyes, teeny tiny wishes stamp set for the sentiment (which is awesome! It has tons of little stamps for every occasion!) and I punched it out with the word window punch. I punched the label out in black and embossed the background with the web embossing folder!

Halloween Card
I think this is the card I am going to use for my October crop make and take. What do you think? I like having some type of 'wow' factor but yet easy enough that it's not like I have to teach a class on how to make the card. Some of the ladies were asking about heat embossing so the sentiment is stamped with versamark and sprinkled with silver embossing powder, heated and viola!! You've got an awesome greeting!!
So my 'wow' factor here is the silver background, I dry embossed it with the Stampin' Up spider web folder from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I used aluminum foil!! Pretty nifty, huh? I thought so! It gives it that creepy yet cool kinda Halloween card feel, lol!
I punched the black flowers out with the Boho Blossom punch from Stampin Up and used the mini rhinestones in the middle and popped them up with pop dots. I used the scallop edge punch too! Can you tell where?? lol
Well, I hope you've enjoyed this super simple card! Happy Halloween y'all!

October 31st Cartridge
Aren't these cool? I used the October 31st cricut seasonal cartridge and cut it out as big as I could. I used my gypsy to hide the inside cuts to get the purple behind it and then used the iRock to add some bling! (I love bling!) For the candles I used versamark ink and covered them with a black and silver embossing powder and heat embossed them.
I don't have a pic of the finished product but I cut out a red background to go behind them so they will be easier to hang on the wall.
If you have any questions for me you can email me or post it here!

Halloween Card
I think this turned out pretty cool! I used aluminum foil in my big shot with an impressions plate that came with it. I wanted to use silver paper but realized that I'm all out and since its almost 1 o'clock in the morning I decided against running out to get some. I like this look better, it gives it that spooky halloween feel with the black flowers that I punched from a Stampin' Up punch. (Boho Blossom) I also used their scallop border punch and ribbon. The stamp is from a set I bought at Michael's last year and I stamped it in silver! I hope you enjoy!!
Halloween Treats!
I know these little guys are hard to see but not bad for pictures from my iPhone! I used the mini monsters cartridge for the boxes and then added a few items in them like pop rocks, a candycorn lolipop, a coffin full of goo and a spider and a gummie eye ball. I put them in basket bags and tied a halloween ribbon on them! They turned out very cute in person!

Heat Embossing Video
This is a video I made for my sister which I call, Thister, you'll hear in my video! I'm filming from my laptop so sorry it's hard to see! I'll get better sooner or later. (Seems like it's gonna be later though! lol)
Spooky Halloween Banner
A quick and easy banner for Halloween!
I cut the letters out using my Cricut, added some bling using my iRock and some left over dimensional stickers from last year! I used two sided halloween paper from last year too and just folded over the top edge and stapled it to a piece of ribbon! and voila, a simple halloween banner!
Mini Monsters Cartridge
Aren't these little monsters adorable? I used the Cricut Mini Monsters Cartridge and the second picture shows it using all the pieces it recommends. On the first picture I used googly eyes and a silver pen for the mouth. I think they are both cute as can be!! If you use a 12x12 piece of paper you can get 2 boxes out of it! I love when that works out like that! Another great thing about these little boxes is that on the bottom of the box you don't even need to use adhesive, they cut out so you can just fold them up!! I love that! It makes it so super easy to reproduce.
I inked the edges in Stampin' Up old olive classic ink to give them some dimension and I used some multi adhesive to glue the other pieces on. The wings on the side had a little slot that the cricut cuts out for you and I just folded the ends a little and glued them in there for more support!

Snow Swirled! Cherry Cobbler
This is an upgrade to the last post of snow swirled cards that I did in Old Olive. I used Cherry Cobbler instead and I also tested out my Stamp-a-mi-jig. I stamped my tree in Cherry Cobbler and then stamped it again using the versamark. I sprinkled it with some embossing powder I had that is mostly clear with some red glitter in it. I think it's called Jelly something, I don't know, but I used that and then I heat embossed it!! It looks so beautiful and professional looking I couldn't believe that I actually made it! I also used my new iRock heat tool and gems to add some bling! (I love bling!) I used two different sizes of gems on the tree and then a larger size on the top! Gorgeous!!
Snow Swirled!
I cased this card from a website that I can't remember, Sorry! But isn't this card so amazing?! I used whisper white and old olive cardstock and old olive ink. I also used the swiss dots folder and the ticket corner punch from Stampin Up!
I didn't have ribbon to match so I just cut a 1/4" piece of the old olive paper to replace it!
I made a pack of 4 cards with envelopes in a clear cello bag as a gift. Cool huh!

Happy Halloween!
I just love Halloween! I held my monthly crop at Potbellies a few weeks ago and I couldn't resist having a Halloween Make n Take for everyone! I used three punches from Stampin' Up!, the photo corner punch, the scallop edge punch and the Scallop Circle punch. Isn't he just so cute?? I had some left over Halloween paper from DCWV last year and just used some googly eyes and a stamp from Michael's dollar bin.
I love it!

Sweet Treats Cartridge
So it was my Birthday the beginning of the month and I decided to turn my monthly meetup group into my birthday party! These are the party favors I made using the Sweet Treats cartridge. I used the Gypsy to fit the box to page and then matched up the layers on there to fit on the box! They turned out sooooo cute!
I used a coupon at Michael's to fill little celophane bags up with matching M&M's!
It was fun!

My 4th of July!

Birthday Card
My card base is from a DCWV pack of A2 cards I've had forever that I'm trying to use up. I used my scallop edge punch and teeny tiny wishes for the sentiment from Stampin' Up! I used a chocolate chip brad with a flower on it and cardstock. The pink paper is actually the color of the paper on the back of the card so I used a second card to cut up and use. From that same card I punched out 3 flowers from the pattern paper and used dimentionals to stick them on. I used the paper piercer around the edge of the pink paper.
Medallion Stamp Again!
Ok, did I mention that I loved this stamp! I used the kissing technique to make the awesome colors! I had a customer at our restaurant ask me to make two birthday cards that were somewhat "groovy" and this is the first one I came up with.
I started with my lightest color first and put it on my stamp and then sponged in the other colors. It was soooo easy and looks so neat. All of the colors are from Stampin' Up! I stamped the sentiment in rich razzleberry.
Pretty neat huh?
Hershey Bar Birthday
My boyfriends son is turning 7 tomorrow and he wanted a hershey bar cake so I went with that theme! I started out by cutting letters out in shadow at 4 inches from opposites attract cartridge in a chocolate brown paper I had laying around and then without the shadow in a light color. I used silver embossing powder and versa mark ink on each letter and heated it to get the shiny letters. I put sticky tape on the back top of each letter and stuck it to a piece of ribbon to make a really neat banner.
I then bought a box a Hershey bars and concocted the cake tower, made a ribbon out of paper and voila! We are celebrating on Sunday with a real cake but I thought this would be cool for his actual birthday!!

Stampin" Up! Starter Kit
How about I received my Stampin" Up! $99 starter kit on Tuesday that came with the old catalog and now today I got a brand new box of the the NEW ones! How awesome is that?! I'm excited!! But what I'm really excited about is my big box'o stuff that should be here tomorrow! Thank goodness I'm having the UPS guy deliver it to my work so I can rip it open as soon as he gets there. I gave him forewarning today that he's probably going to get attacked tomorrow! lol If any of you know me our restaurant is actually only 10 steps out the back door to the house but hey that's 10 less steps I have to take before I can open my package!
I can't wait to share my new ideas with you!
