Join the Club!

Is your Stampin' Up! Wish list longer then your grocery list?

If you answered yes, then join the club! This Stampin’ Up! Club is a great way to build your collection. Or, if you've never used SU! products before, this would be a great way to start -and you will be hooked!

Here is how this club works:
I am looking for members in groups of 6 who are committed to spending $25.00 in products (before shipping and tax) each month for 6 months. Each month's order will amount to $150 or more which qualifies for the NEW hostess benefits program with Stampin’ Up! You will get at least $25.00 in hostess dollars to spend when it’s your month. Every month we will rotate the hostess who gets the free goodies so that everyone gets them once. Everyone will receive the NEW catalog when you sign up for this club. During your month, you can get even greater hostess benefits if you have your other friends order.

When does club happen??
The 3rd Saturday or Sunday of each month from 4pm-6pm, I will host a club “meeting” where you will be able to make 3 FREE projects using Stampin’ Up! Products so you are able to see some things that you may like to purchase for yourself. Orders and payments will be due at this time every month. If you are unable to make it to the meeting in any given month you must have your order to me before club starts so the hostess is able to get her order in!! I will have the entire combined order shipped to me and get your items to you as soon as possible! This club will start on Saturday, September 15th, 2012. Our “meeting” will be at Potbellies Restaurant
3826 S Himes Ave. Tampa, FL 33611
from 4pm-6pm.

How do I join this awesome club????

To sign up send me an email at cropperscouture@gmail.com or give me a call at (412) 327-2240. If you have any questions please let me know. The first 6 to sign up will be in the group so make sure to sign up soon.

**If you would like to join but these dates and times don’t work for you, let me know and maybe we can start another club on a different day and time. Club will start September 2012 and end February 2012!

July Club Christmas project

Here is a cut gift bag that used the Be of Good Cheer Christmas DSP and the fancy favor box big shot die! I stamped the Delightful Decorations in Gumball Green and punched it out with the matching ornament punch! I attached the tag using white bakers twine and cherry cobbler seam binding ribbon!

I am open for business!

That was the name of Carrie Cudney's class that I attended this afternoon. We got some great ideas on how to find new "fish" to introduce to Stampin' Up! Stampin up is also doing an awareness campaign to help get the word out about Stampin up! Look for adds in Better Home and Gardens plus many others!

I am savvy!

Yep that was the name of my first class!! We saw some great projects using fabric, the simply scrappin kit and a really neat way to use up scraps of ribbon! Check out this cool card Dawn Griffith made on stage!

Awesome start to convention!

Here are a few pics of the opening session! Jason Dosey was the speaker and he did an amazing job! He had us laughing talking about the different generations!

And I'm off!!

Off to convention!Woohoo! I made it to the airport with plenty of time for a way over priced breakfast! But it's sooo good! I always eat well on vacation! My scale doesn't like it but I do! Teehee! They'll be plenty of time to exercise when I get home!
I also posted the pic that I see every time I go through security at the Tampa airport! I just love it!

Would you like a beer?

A Stampin' Up! Style beer! Isn't this the cutest card? I absolutely love it! I saw Tami Whites video on her blog and made a few changes to make it my own. I also got to thinking when she says that you could do root beer as well so why not a root beer float?
So which one do you think we should make at our July Club meeting??

Check this one out! Here are the measurements I used to make both of these adorable cards!

Whisper White CS 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (card base)
Soft Suede CS/Calypso Coral CS: 4" x 5-1/4" (embossed with the Chevron Folder)
Vellum CS (mug): 3" x 3-1/2"
Vellum handle: 1-3/4" circle punch for the inside and then the 2-1/2" circle punch for the outside
So saffron CS/Early Espresso CS: (3) 7/8" x 3"
For the Beer: I cut (5) 1" circles
(5) 3/4" circles
(5) Itty Bitty Punch pack circles
sponged in More Mustard Ink
For the Float: I cut (1) 2-1/2" Circle
(3) 1" circles
(3) 3/4" circles
(4) Itty Bitty Punch Pack circles
sponged in Early Espresso
to make the straw I used a 1/4" strip of Whisper White and folded it over. I used the Calypso Coral marker to make the stripe on it!

I hope you all enjoy this post!

Delightful Decorations...

Is the stamp set I used to make these darling earrings for a swap at convention! I made 120 pairs and probably will never do it again, lol! Thank goodness my boyfriends son was willing to help me out. We worked on these for three evenings after work, diligently! We stamped them on shrinky-dinks, punched them out with the ornament punch, added a hole with my crop-a-dile, baked them at 325 on a baking sheet on top of a piece of a brown paper bag (hey, that's what the directions said to do and it worked!) and then for the tedious job, we added the hooks and rhinestones! This pair is stamped in Garden Green but we also did some in Night of Navy and Cherry Cobbler. We also used the tiny pearls in the centers for some of them!
I hope you all have a great week, keep checking back for posts from convention!! Yay! Only 1 more work day before I leave!!

It's almost 2012 convention time!

Yep, just 5 more days until I arrive in Salt Lake City, Utah for Stampin' Up!'s 2012 convention!! I am really looking forward to seeing everyone from last year and meeting up with new friends along the way! Here is a picture of just my 1 suitcase full of swaps! Just swaps, no clothes in this bag!! (and yes, the shoebox is full of more cards and supplies for my 'shoebox' swap!)
Last year I had to actually buy this suitcase just to bring my all my new stuff home in, so this year I've learned that 1 bag needs to be dedicated to stamp stuff and so do several shipping boxes!!
Follow my blog starting next week during convention for lots of pics and posts for convention!
Want to go next year?? click on the link about that says 'join my team' and start planning your trip today!!
