Halloween Layout

While I was on a roll with scrapbook pages I decided to go ahead and make a halloween layout! At the school they had a Book-o-ween parade where all the kids dressed up and paraded around with a book dressed as a character in the book. This lets all kids participate even if they don't celebrate halloween they are celebrating reading! So I snapped a few pics on Friday, sent them to get printed and now all I have to do is pick them up and put them on this beautiful layout! Pretty smart thinkin' huh?

1st day of 1st grade layout

I finally finished my boyfriend's sons scrapbook page from the first day of school! Hey, at least it's this years! I still have a ton of his oldest sons pictures that are patiently waiting to be scrapped but it's difficult to do since I was there for them! lol This was a very simply layout I did using my Cricut and Locker Talk!

Delightful Decorations!

Delightful Decorations!
That's the name of the stamp set I used for these ones and it is delightful!! I have to be honest, when I first got this set I played with it a little but wasn't too impressed but I picked it back up and I can't put it down!!!
I have my first Stampin' Up! workshop coming up Oct. 28th and I can't wait! I decided to stick with this stamp set to show off! I made a hostess gift bag with the tag stamp that comes with this set and then I'm going to demonstrate a gift card holder using this set and some punches. (I cased the gift card holder from Chic n Scratch) and then these cards will be the make and takes! I stuck with the color scheme on the bottom for all the projects and then decided to show a whole new look with the blue and white!

Stampin Up booking

I absolutely love the owl punch AND the mini milk carton die from Stampin Up! I finally booked my first workshop and I wanted to make sure I didn't forget to try and get another one. So I came up with this little interactive display! I've seen these displays as the 3-D cake slices saying "Who will take the cake?" and "it's a piece of cake to host a workshop."
Let me know what you think! Would you book a workshop with me because you want to know what's inside? I would! lol

Double Embossing!

Hi Everyone!
Here is a really neat way to add more to your cards and pages! If you love your Big Shot or Cuttlebug your going to love this technique! Check out the video to learn how to do it!

I use my laptop to video my projects so they are not the best quality but I'm gonna ask for one for Christmas! Hint, Hint!!

A little OCD!

I've thanked my mother for the slight OCD! I got a pTouch label maker at Michael's yesterday so I spent my afternoon labeling all of my Stampin Up ink pads. First, I printed the names on the labeler, cut them in half and then punched the edges with the word window punch to get them rounded. Then, I peeled of the backs and stuck 'em in there!! Cool huh? I'm glad it's done though!

Witch Shoe!

Happy over the hump day! Ever feel like you need a good ol' kick in the butt? Well, here it is, A witch's shoe to help you over the hump today!

Sorry for the mess in the background of my photos, I really need to work on my photography skills but hey, it's not what's behind the shoe it's all about the shoe!!

I found this on the internet while looking for Halloween 'treats' to make for fun! I fell in love! You can also make this shoe as a wedding/bridal shower favor or for any girly occasion. I had trouble finding the template for free but it's out there at skiptomylou.org but the original idea, I believe, is from Ellen Hutson.

Halloween Gum Holder

I saw this cute little gum holder over at the Rubber Room blog and as a Stampin' Up demonstrator I couldn't pass this one up!

If your coming to my crop in Tampa this Friday, this is going to be the make and take! I usually have a card but I ran out of envelopes and plus we did a halloween card last time!!
I used the owl punch upside down for the ghost and the little hearts for the feet. I used the circle punch from the itty bitty punch set for the eyes, teeny tiny wishes stamp set for the sentiment (which is awesome! It has tons of little stamps for every occasion!) and I punched it out with the word window punch. I punched the label out in black and embossed the background with the web embossing folder!

Halloween Card

I think this is the card I am going to use for my October crop make and take. What do you think? I like having some type of 'wow' factor but yet easy enough that it's not like I have to teach a class on how to make the card. Some of the ladies were asking about heat embossing so the sentiment is stamped with versamark and sprinkled with silver embossing powder, heated and viola!! You've got an awesome greeting!!
So my 'wow' factor here is the silver background, I dry embossed it with the Stampin' Up spider web folder from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I used aluminum foil!! Pretty nifty, huh? I thought so! It gives it that creepy yet cool kinda Halloween card feel, lol!
I punched the black flowers out with the Boho Blossom punch from Stampin Up and used the mini rhinestones in the middle and popped them up with pop dots. I used the scallop edge punch too! Can you tell where?? lol
Well, I hope you've enjoyed this super simple card! Happy Halloween y'all!

October 31st Cartridge

Aren't these cool? I used the October 31st cricut seasonal cartridge and cut it out as big as I could. I used my gypsy to hide the inside cuts to get the purple behind it and then used the iRock to add some bling! (I love bling!) For the candles I used versamark ink and covered them with a black and silver embossing powder and heat embossed them.
I don't have a pic of the finished product but I cut out a red background to go behind them so they will be easier to hang on the wall.
If you have any questions for me you can email me or post it here!
